Halder & Associates was started by the Late Ajoy Halder in 2017 and is head quartered in Delhi. Ajoy graduated from the National Law School of India University, Bangalore, India in 2004 and had worked with some of the leading Indian and international law firms such as Amarchand, Trilegal, DSK Legal and Pinsent Masons (Singapore). He had always been passionate about law, particularly infrastructure and commercial law. The Firm, which was established by him initially as an infrastructure boutique has now grown into a full-fledged law firm covering all areas of law. He imbued it with his vision: to provide effective legal solutions without compromising on quality and standards. Ajoy specialized in the practice areas of technology, transport, energy, construction, real estate, water, healthcare and social infrastructure, and for many years was regularly recognized as a recommended lawyer for energy and infrastructure in the Asia Pacific.

Ajoy passed away from Covid-19 in May 2021. However, in a short time under Ajoy’s leadership Halder & Associates flourished, and was recognized by many national and international journals (such as IFLR1000, Legal 500, India Business Law Journal, ALB India Awards and ALB Journal) as a recommended law firm for India..
